Samir Sahdev recently augmented his 4.5 years of solid experience as a Finance and Strategy professional by completing an MBA in Finance and Marketing. His experience prior to attaining his MBA included financial reporting and planning, business and strategic analysis, process improvement and risk management. While studying at Fordham, Sahdev attained distinction by serving as the President of the Asian Business Network, as well as by serving as an MBA Consultant to Elmstock Tea and Consumer Reports Magazine.
Samir’s most recent pre-MBA position was as an Internal Finance Consultant to the Global Wealth Management division (GWM) of HSBC Securities. As part of his responsibilities, he served as the cross-functional Finance lead for the 2008 and 2009 Strategic Operating Plan. This entailed developing an Off Shore Banking Strategic Plan which enabled GWM to expand into the Latin American market, as well as devising and implementing an Operational Risk strategy which enables GWM to proactively manage risk so as to offset any financial losses that may occur from its new Latin American operations.
Tyrone Webb, Jr. is presently completing his Global MBA with a finance concentration at Kean University. His coursework includes a strong combination of international financial management, reporting and ethics courses, as well as independent study and construction of case studies.
Mr. Webb spent his Summer 2010 semester in Salamanca, Spain, after which he led a consulting project for Travel and Education magazine which was designed to market supplementary study abroad to students.
He is deeply involved in business school activities, holding a board position in the Global MBA Club, and serving on the EPAS Accreditation program, as well as active and socially oriented membership in the National Black MBA Association.
Prior to his MBA studies, Mr Webb worked at the New Jersey Star Ledger, first as a Stop Saver representative and then as a manager in that department. He then joined Alloy Media Marketing as a Program Manager, building profitable joint ventures with media networks. Mr. Webb now serves as a manager of the primary computer lab of Kean University, and is responsible for fiscal management and reporting.
