After graduating from NYU’s Stern School of Business, the New York native held various consultant, recruiter and human resources positions at companies such as Citigroup, AXA Equitable, and the New York City Department of Education.  The wealth of knowledge and experience she gained in her own career enabled her to offer her expertise to others as clients of Your Career My Advice LLC.

Renee’s strategic planning includes all the basics, from revamping a resume, to preparing someone for an interview as well as providing proven methods for salary negotiations.  Renee counsels each client as an individual in order to give them the job search strategies that will put them on the path to their ideal career. Her energetic and confident, yet calm approach to career planning has produced many long-term clients as well as new client referrals. “I really like the one-on-one client interaction and taking the fear out of career strategy and individual job searches,” she says. “I’m with them from their initial strategy planning through their resume, the first interview and the final negotiation and I show them that it doesn’t have to be a daunting process.”

In addition to individual client services, Renee holds workshops for job searchers and also speaks to large groups on today’s most topical career planning and job search challenges and solutions. Her sought-after workshops have been held at New York University’s Wasserman Center for Career Development, the National Association of Asian MBAs, Polytechnic Institute of NYU, and the NY Metro National Black MBA Association, as well as other professional organizations throughout the country.

Renee’s workshops and speeches offer MBAs practical advice on everything from navigating career fairs to how to effectively research a company before applying for a position.
